At Channel Marker program centers, staff assist clients to access resources and develop enhanced community living skills. Each individual develops and participates in their goals and wellness planning. Supportive skill building groups are offered, but are not limited to independent living skills, job readiness/vocational skills, interpersonal social skills, illness management skills, leisure/recreational activities and opportunities .
Community support services are designed to meet the needs of the individual. Services may be provided in the home, community setting, or worksite. Emphasis is placed on skill development, enhancing self-confidence, and establishing a network of natural support.

Supported Employment services provide job development, job coaching, and ongoing employment support to individuals with a mental illness. These individualized services are provided to enable an individual to choose, maintain, or advance within independent competitive employment. Work opportunities are provided within a community-integrated work setting, consistent with the client's interests, preferences, and skills. Supported Employment staff provide training in the areas of resume writing, job search and job application, and resolving employment conflicts. On-going support includes: vocational counseling/advocacy, communication between employer and employee, community integration and support with co-worker integration.
WHERE DO WE PROVIDE SERVICES?
Qualified staff meet with clients in home or community settings, as well as on the job site.
Clients can also meet with staff individually or in group settings at one of our three program centers located in Easton, Denton, or Cambridge.
