About Matt

Matt Runnalls is a well-recognized mental health expert and advocate who comes to us from Australia to share his own insights and experiences of working across the mental health field for well over ten years. Matt continues to create global platforms of communication to bring awareness, acceptance, education, and connection within communities to overcome the stigma and effects of suicide. 


Through his rediscovery of hope visible in the kindness of others, Matt found his passion and purpose when he wholeheartedly pursued the creation of Mindfull Aus at the age of 24. Since devoting himself to advocacy full-time, Matt has delivered over 1,200 speeches and keynotes, workshops, and events across Australia, Canada, and America.

Channel Marker Partnership

Matt is partnering with Channel Marker during the month of November to bring self-care and wellness content to our community with a series of workshops and speaking engagements.  He will be presenting at a local University, collaborating with partners in a suicide coalition, guest speaker at a community support group, presenting self-care to the community, professional development for Channel Marker staff, and speaking at CEO’s retreat on a Blueprint to Wellness while visiting the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
